While I was out last weekend on Saturday, I noticed that there was quite a storm brewing to the west. I decided to head back to the marina to seek some shelter. We made it to the fuel dock, and then just barely to the slip with the rain began. We got the front canvas covers up but couldn't get the back up. So we watched it from the entryway... This storm knocked out power to much of the Chicago suburbs that afternoon.
Looking back at the city
Just putting along reluctantly heading back to the marina. The camera still just doesn't do this view it's due justice...
Looking around the boat on a dark night
While heading back to the marina I got the camera out and took in the beauty around me.
I -94 from underneath on the river
Looking up at the Bishop Ford bridge from on the river. That's one solid bridge!
